Alternative goods?

I've read numerous stories about repairs to Jackson guitars, from both JCF and non-JCF members, and am considering alternatives, since Reverb are unwilling to give me a refund. I have to consider £800 in total. So far, I'm thinking of:

Boss GT-8 (£319)
Beyerdynamic DT100 Headphones (approx £100).

I'm hoping Reverb just replace the entire DK1 and provide the correct HSC, but I'm not optimistic.
