    Calzaghe vs Jones Jnr fight

    Anyone watch it?
    Calzaghe is a fucking machine, he pumelled that dude into submission!
    My only gripe was that Jones Jnr. appeared badly hurt, so much so Calzaghe eased up on him for the last three or four rounds making that part of the fight a complete non event.
    I can't believe the shots Joe took yet still kep hammering away.

          I like both but lean to MMA more. Boxing goes too long and the cards can be weak. I opted out of watching this. The UFC PPV "The Ultimate" that is coming in December looks like it has a stacked card.

            Both are rigged imo... that said, at least there is some skill involved in boxing. MMA is like watching a televised bar fight.

                Being a boxing purist since I was 14 or so, I will say that UFC or major MMA circuits are doing the right thing compared to boxing though. The fighters that should be fighting are. In boxing it seems the fighters that should be fighting don't fight until they are old n shit! I don't like the long rounds they fight though! The fights would be waay more competitive if they were shorter!

                As far as Calzaghe/Jones. Jones never had a chance at this point in his career! Though he did look good against Trinidad earlier this year, ppl seem to forget that Trindad was a mediocore at best, has also been stagnant and, moved up in weight too meet Jones. Calzaghe is a prodigy of his own, and has always been, and will be! The intriguing thing in this fight was Jones has, or maybe had what it takes to take Calzaghe down given Calzaghe has a great chin!! but Calzaghe doesn't have a 46-0 record on top of being the champ for 11 years for nothing!! I hope this isn't his last fight either! Unlike Mayweather!
