People choose their own fate. Methed up nutjob rockin' the most frequently stolen car chose to attack horns. And nobody here would be better prepared or knowlegable or experienced in this situation. How it went down, when to stop etc. Anybody saying anything different would be a mess in a hospital or worse. I know I myself would have sped off as quick as possible. I'd have bet on my driving over any confrontation. I also dont have a wife or kid.
The thing that really sucks is one side of the fight didn't choose or want it to happen. And I'm generally sorry you had to go through that man.
Bill you had to do it end of story.Guyver obviously dosn't have a clue how dangerous Cleveland is I do been there many times.
The scum that act this way are fuckin' mutants with no regard for anything.
I'm a short shit 5'7in and I have to fight dirty to win.
I had two black guys try to rob me for $20 bucks $20 fuckin bucks I told them to fuck off and the big one came at me saying "fucker you're going down" When he got close I stomped down on his left leg just below the knee shattering the knee and whatever you call that lower leg bone he hit the black top in some major pain.
His bad ass homey cuz partner took off running like his ass was on fire.
The police were on the way in the parking lot and caught the homey cuz and he squeeled like a pig and told them just what happend I drove home with a very sore foot.
Bill heal up bro' fuggum.
At this point, whatever I say would just be moot point... But just want to add my 2 cents that the guy deserved what he asked for. He just did not know who the fuck he was fucking with! Be careful Bro, such public "confessions" might be dangerous. But you made a boring day at work much more thrilling. And the best part, you said the story so well, it was like reading a fiction novel. Only truth is stranger than fiction.
Maybe you want to write a book about all your adventures? ...In this case your fights? I would buy it! Especially the way you write and all the funny comments.
i think that might be the "caped crusader" law, which protects against giving evil villains too much biff! Pow! Ker-slam!!!! Fukkkkka!!!! Whilst running around in your underpants over a pair of your wife's tights.
Cliff, I believe the good samaritan law is in place to protect you if you DO decide to help someone and wind up doing more harm than good.
I think that might be the "Caped Crusader" law, which protects against giving evil villains too much BIFF! POW! KER-SLAM!!!! FUKKKKKA!!!! whilst running around in your underpants over a pair of your wife's tights.
bill, glad you came out ok on this one. and glad that guy learned a valuable lesson from (literally) the school of hard knocks! maybe, in the future, he won't give in to his first instinct of being confrontational.
i've only been in a few fights (thrown in jail for one), but i'm not a big guy, and most have been with people twice my size. i've been lucky that i was an average-at-best wrestler in high school yet apparently learned enough skills that i could always take the other guy down while he was throwing haymakers. and keep him down until the bouncers showed up.
i only say this because i *understand* what it's like to hold onto the most precarious of advantages until the situation is completely under control. until you *know*, you have to keep gaining advantage or you're doing yourself (and your family) a disservice. so the extra service you gave him was perfectly warranted imo.
horns666- Thanks man, you really make me think and stop me dead in my tracks every time. Rest up and take it easy. You have got the love of your family and all of JCF behind you- It's men like you that keep my faith in what a man should be. I have been married to the same awesome woman for the last 34 years, have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren- my number one concern everyday is their physical and financial well being, safety and happiness. If everyone is fine, then I am happy- that is the way it has always been. I'm one of the most reclusive guys ever. The older you get the more valuable your time is and you don't want to waste it in the human rat race. It is a jungle out there and your family always comes first- that is the first rule of life. Take care brother and thanks for making me stop and think about my own life by sharing yours.
Bill, once again, you are my fucking hero!!!
I'm glad you're OK, that's a scary situation to get into,
go get a full body deep muscle massage, it will do wonders.
You should of keyed the shit out of his car before you left
Animals like this make me sick.
As far as I'm concern, he got exactly what he deserved.
guess it coulda been worse.....you coulda been him. congrats on a great ass kickin although it was an unneccesary conflict his asskickin was more than justified.
As far as I'm concerned, you should be able to shoot the fucker in the head 4 or 5 times and assert the "He needed killing" defense! Animals like that make this world a lot worse place.
Wow Bill dude. Glad you and Val are OK. You did what you had too. I probably wouldve done the same thing. Im a big guy but not much of a threat. I cant fight for shit. so i use my brain to outsmart any would be attackers. However brain power doesn't work well against an enraged lunatic on meth hell bent for a fight. I just hope he remembers what happened and learns for the better from his actions. Sounds like he may have blacked out for a bit there and woke up going "WTF just happened and why am i bleading?" A similar thing happened to a friend of mine at work. He was jumped by two guys at a bar. Now mind you all had been drinking. Words were exchanged inside and as my friend walked out side to avoid confrontation he gets jumped by both and tossed to the groundmbruising his ribs. Now my friend is 6'2" and was a pro fighter MMA i Think. He jumps to his feet and flattens one guy and throws him to the ground and stomps on his head while it was resting on the curb and busted his jaw to the point it was hangin off his face and he was lying in a pool of his own blood> My friens calls his mom to get him cuz hes drunk out of his mind and just whooped a guys ass while his friend watched. And the cops were about to show up. So you never know when this could happen. I had a situatin with road rage. Some lunatic lady with her kid in the car not even strapped in was driving erraticaly and almost caused several accidents. I was looking for an address and she was riding my ass. So i hit my breaks to make her back off. So she keeps tailgatin me. for a bit then pulls along side me and flips me offo and waves a club of som ekind at me through the car window. (remember her son is in the car) Nice example of what parents are turning into huh? I finaly lose the psycho and find the place i was looking for. But it couldve escelated to something much worse if i wasnt a rational person. I couldve slammed my brakes on and made her hit me. Sending her kid into the sindshield probably killing him if not severly injuring him. Then got out and watch her try to strike at me with the club she had. As i grab it from her and hit her with it. Or just toss it aside bust a knee cap and leave. But i didnt. Cus what we do effects every one involved and those around them.
HAd that happened and her son got hurt i couldnt live with myself because it was a result of myactions. Provoked by hers. But we all have choices. Most of the time. Others like with Bills situation. There was no choice. He was attacked. And with his wife in the car. He had to defend not only his own life but that of his wifes and the livelyhood of his son too.
Hopefully he wont press charges for accessive force and this all disapears and he learns a lesson. Providing he lives through it. Altho Bill . maybe callin the POPO would've been the right thing instead leaving him for dead. Just a thought.
Gil
Just got through reading all this, Bill. I'm also behind you 100%. People who haven't been in this situation & think you could've just flipped a switch & started easing up don't understand. Hope you didn't do anything to make your neck injury any worse, and I hope Val is OK. I'm sure it shook her up pretty bad. Take care, and all the best!
Summed it up for me. I think if it came down to it, anyone else would do the same. Just take care bro...
EDIT: Also agree the guy got what he deserved. Fwiw, do you think he was intoxicated. It almost sounds like he was on something, or perhaps the vehicle was stolen and he thought he might get caught. Who knows, maybe he will go home and rethink his life. Not likely though.
