A lot of you have been following Kristi's story. Tonight at 10 pm est she will be on the abc news show 20/20 talking about it. I know I'll be watching.

Oh my - it seems like everyone is recording it! You don't want to see me that much!

Really - I hope by doing even just one person is helped in some way. Hopefully one person realizes what an issue there is out there - not just that the guy was a cop, but that there is an epidemic of sexual crimes and victims that are so often ignored or denied just because it makes people uncomfortable to talk about it.

Kristi, you are a great example for women that they can take control and get justice for themselves and appropriate punishment for their attackers. It has to be the healthy thing for someone who has suffered such an assault, and it ensures that pieces of crap like Jeff Pelo are stopped from doing this to any more women.

Kudos to you, and to TEKKY for his support, for your support of each other through all this.

I just got done watching the story. What a shocking nightmare. It makes me sick to my stomach that Kristi or anyone would have to go through an experience like that. All we can hope is there is something worse in this guys future after he rots in his cell for the rest of his natural life.

I also hope that Kristi has been able to recover and get back to a normal life.

Thank you all. I am doing actually pretty well. There are still some rough spots, but things are good. I felt compelled to tell my story, partly because there are so many that don't get to tell their stories and partly because I wanted to bring some awareness to the whole topic. Ignoring it and denying it doesn't may sexual assault go away. So my hope is that I made a difference in someone's life - even if it's just one it was worth it.

Hi Kristi, I'm watching the show now. I didn't even know it was on....I recognized you right away. I have followed this case for a long time. I am glad this part of it is over and you have closure.
