Yeah, I knew she was the singer for Garbage but was never really into them. I've been watching the Terminator series now and never realized who she was until I was paying attention to the credits one day and saw her name.

+1. I was laughing my ass off, and then I hit that pic. Very sad indeed. He's probably my favorite vocalist of all time, behind Bruce Dickenson maybe. I recall an interview with BD where he talked about AiC. He said his favorite thing about AiC was the way they approached the vocals in their recordings.

As a side note, I then hit that Lars pic and started laughing my ass off again! :ROTF:

MY least favourite thing about AiC was wanting to slash my fuckin' wrists when I listened to them.

A friend gave me a loan of their albums.
It was abou the same time I was diagnosed with clinical depression. AiC was the last band I needed to be listening to.

Grunge had it's flaws, as did every other genre (no need to rehash here). All the same, I miss the original AiC and regret never seeing them live.

I never thought about it in that perspective but I could understand why someone could

Edit: Did you see the pic of the billy Joe dude from green day? if he doesn't look like a girl no one does.

LOL, no doubt. they could be somewhat depressing. IMO it's part of what made them so great. Layne's lyrics were so dark but beautiful.

I dont even know what the lyrics were about, I just remember the music was soul destroying. I gave him his CDs back quick and tried to stick to Van Halen after that!

I saw them once, on their fist tour, I think it was 1991, opening for the Clash of the Titans tour at Madison Square Garden... Anthrax, Megadeth and Slayer!
