He did a great job. Glad everybody survived.
Don't forget the corn. It's nutritious, delicious, and ribbed for her pleasure.

      Buy him a case!

And those tug cap's deserve a share for bringing her in, too.

I would suppose the people next to the emergency doors reacted well and quickly also. Props to them as well.
I'm one of those nutjobs that tries to stay right next to the emergency exits. I'm not nervous, I'm just ready.

This face needs to be plastered in every bar and restaurant in the US.
He should never have to pay for another drink or meal.

        Well done!

                Yep, you got that right.
Incredible indeed and there's just something truly wonderful about experience, without question a hero.
Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Hell of a good job avoiding what could easily have been a terrible loss of life.

Still safer than driving... There's like 60,000 + automobile accidents a year.. how many aircraft accidents are there..

Fatal commercial aircraft accidents are around 40 per year.
General Aviation and part 135 accidents as per the FAA 325 per year.

Damn straight bro!! Oh, and I'm sure someone said he's gettin to old to fly...think again.
Actually older pilots who have been flying for many years are on the opposite side of the curve they tend to get into more accidents because of the "I've been flying this xx many years and I know what to do".

Any Pilot who executes a emergency landing deserve free beer and meals.
Alfred C. Haynes and his crew should be on that list as well.

If you can check out accidents and incidents here http://www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/query.asp you can find out about any accidents in aviation here. Here's JFK Jr. report http://www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/brief.asp?e...12X19354&key=1
