The way I look at it, I come here for talking about Jacksons, Charvels and other guitar related things. I don't want to discuss politics, sexual orientation or any other controversial subject. I save those talks for real-life with people I know.Comment

What is the consequence of flagging a YouTube comment as spam? While it does cause the comment to become hidden, you can still show it. Even then, I'm betting that is only for the user you flagged it as such.
You can also give the offending comment a "Thumbs Down" which causes the comment to be rated "-1". What ever that means, I'm going to assume that it's not good.Comment

Maybe if youtube gets enough spamming notices on a particular person, they may do something to his account...
