FFS - I miss the old days ...........

Here's my favourite video of all time.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

When they asked Sam "how did you get all the stars to do it?"
He replied"I sell the best drugs.". Classic.
Enjoying a rum and coke, just didn't have any coke...

RIP Sam Kinison. Did Sambora do the entire solo? I didn't hear anyone else cut in. Loved the paint job on Sam's Jackson. All the greatest guitars of the 80's in one room. Did the guy in the background ever break that V?
Yesterday is history; tomorrow is a mystery; but today is a gift; that's why it is called the present.

Can you imagine the party they had after they finished doing that?
So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!

        I nearly broke her back

Looked like a Kramer advert Thank god for CC and Warren waving the J/C banner
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

I could be mistaken but I seem to remember that Marc Ferarri did some of the lead work on it. I remember thinking damn, that's not the way it was on the video. But it really doesn't matter because the real star was Jessica Hahns boobs..

I really miss the days of old when music and videos were fun and the artist performing genuinely looked like the were having a great time doing what they loved to do. Music today is sorely missing that "tounge in cheek" attitude.

Ah yes Jessica Hahn. I used to work in Fort Mill, SC about 15 minutes away from the ruins of Heritage, USA (the theme park built by Jim Bakker and the PTL decades ago). My friends and I used to occasionally go exploring in there at lunchtime. It was really eerie and amazing. At first we didn't even know what it was, as all of the "Heritage" signs were removed. All that remains is a rundown ghost town in the middle of nowhere! It's hard to believe that one 21 year old girl helped to put a series of events in motion that turned that whole fuggin empire to dust. Here are some pics of the ruins:

They should have let George Shin <sp> buy the place.
He was going to turn it into a sporting paradise.

There was too much opposition from the PTL people.

Or better yet, sell it to the Catawba Indians so they could have turned it into a casino!

Totally agree on both points (boobs and tongue in cheek, or tongue in boobs:ROTF

Watching this gets me nostalgic in a sad kind of way. I guess because at the time of this film clip these guys were kings of the world, playing music that was hugely popular.

I dunno maybe because I'm getting older but everything seems so contrived and marketed. Even to see some of the guys in this filmclip today it's just not the same. I guess partly because there is so much more variety in todays music scene. So many competing styles that when you get your one chance it's serious fucking business.

                    Ahhh the good ole' days.

Fuck yeah! That pretty much sums up that whole period right there.
Robbin looked so damn cool with that '58 V, and having Slash just fall into the box at the end was inspired.
God, those days were great. And yes, younger JCFers, the girls did look like that! (Admittedly, they're all middle-aged housewives these days...)

Growing up in the 80's was the best. I guess everybody says that about the time they grew up but damn the 80's rocked!

Not everybody. I grew up in the 70s and, music wise, especially in the late 70s when I was really into music, it sucked! Disco, Funk, Saturday Night Fever. I wore out the few decent rock albums that came out. There were some treasures that got me through like Van Halen, Judas Priest, and Sabbath. But it wasn't until the 80s that the harder edge Rock music that I loved so much came back in a big way... So really, I grew up musically in my 20s.

Ms Hahn was no spring chicken in that video either. Not that that would have stopped me for as much as a nanosecond from sticking my head between those nellies and.........
