Messed up. This thing was 200 pounds and enraged. Amazing whatthey are capable of.

I heard from a LEO on another board that knows officers in that area, that both of the victim's hands were completely bitten/torn off the body, extreme damage to her face and ears from bites appearing that her face was literally torn off along with her scalp, and some other horrific damages...

Officers arriving, were greeted by the enraged monkey and it ripped the mirror off the car and attempted to open the door of the patrol car. As the animal tried to enter the vehicle, the officer in the driver's seat shot it several times in the chest with his duty weapon. It ran back into the house and they found it dying in its room

Chimps are extremely, viciously aggressive at times. One chimp owner was attacked some years ago by a pair of his chimps. They tore his foot off, and they ripped his genitalia/testicles from his body.

These things are nuts... Terrible...

They're much like a human with 10X the strength of a human, and with no impulse control.

The chimp actually did open the police car door. He rode in his owner's SUV all the time, she even said he could drive! The chimp was probably going to kill the cop and steal his car!

The case of the guy who got his foot nose and nuts, though, it wasn't his chimp that attacked him. It was 2 other chimps at the sanctuary, and he HAD given that chimp up when he realized it was too much to handle. He continued to visit him in the sanctuary though. Sort of like thge chimps that attacked an enemy chimp pack that I think Bill linked above, if it's the same one I saw at Sludge.

You shouldn't be able to own a pet that can kill humans, whether it's a chimp or a python. The owners always say they are safe until this kind of thing happens.

Where would they stop? I've have owned pitbulls as family dogs forever and my grandparents and great grandparents owned them before me as family dogs... They were seriously popular in the old days, a proper American Icon actually. No one dead or mauled. Yet, they now are a threat in many circumstances because of irresponsible idiots...

Shit, like the chimp, people own friggin wolves, tigers and bears... More gov regulation? Ugh... Totally understandable, but damn where will they stop.

Will they take my pittie? They're certainly trying. I live without house insurance because I own one in Ohio. Will they take my Rottweiller? Or a German shepherd, malemute or chow or..... Where does it stop?

Maybe just no friggin wild ass undomesticated type animals... Sounds ok... I'm sure some will want more tho, as they always do.

I'm sure they will find out the chimp listened to metal and that's why he went on a rampage. Interesting weekend for CT. I flew home to see my girl and almost missed my flight because some asshole wanted to pull over on one of the main highways in Hartford and hold a gun to his head, holding up traffic for 4 hours. Too bad the chimp didn't rip his face off.

Chihuahuas seem to love me. They'll just run up and jump straight up and down in front of me until I pick 'em up and pet 'em.

My late buddy Clyde's Chihuahua Grace, she was a pistol! I house-sat for him and his wife when they took a trip and of course I had to take her out to do her pee and poo every day.

Well there was a stray German Shepherd in the neighborhood and she decided she was going after HIM! She never realized that it was me with a baseball bat that actually scared him away!

I kinda felt sorry for the Shepherd - he was a stray and after the storm that had to be rough. But that Grace had no mercy, that was HER fuggin' yard and he had to go! I'm just glad the Shepherd wasn't feral, those fuckers are pretty close to being a wolf and that baseball bat didn't reassure me all that much.
