Well folks, this is the end of the line for me here at JCF. I’ve been thinking about this for a while now and while it feels like I’m letting go of a part of my life, it does feel like the right thing to do.

To be honest I feel like an outsider here. There are some really great people here, and I don’t begrudge anyone but myself for not being part of the “inner circle”. But the way it is here is that you’re either one of the bros or you get ignored, and I’m just tired of being ignored.

Anyway, ban me, because Im done and I don’t want to have any excuse for coming back here.

I would like to consider myself a nice blend of all 3.

I also think that some of the nicest "bros" I have ever met are the ones I met on the JCF. UFO does rock. I think you should stay and tough it out. Its not that bad.

On rare occasions he makes sense. On even rarer occasions I agree with him. I consider him a bro and he is an example of what makes the JCF great.

Life is 10% what happens and 90% how you interpret it. In other words, I think this is mostly in your head. I've been here for 5+ years and I'm not sure what the "inner circle" is that you're referring to. Some folks get along really well and hang tight, have a few inside jokes, etc. That doesn't mean they're singling you out for exclusion. Most of the guys I was closest to here don't post much anymore or have been banned for one reason or another, but I still like the place. IMO, the best thing to do is just take some time away. If you miss the place, check back in. If you don't, no biggie. It's a message board.

exactly, I'm a highly opinionated European, I'm a true asshole, in real life I'm even worse, in US I'm considered to be a lot ruder than Noo Yawkes, there's nothing better than arguing and taking a piss on everything, all with a sense of humor of course, it's a lot more interesting to test your argumentation skills and wit than posting stuff like "+1 bro" all the time, as I said, it helps to keep the boredom away somewhat because at least your brain is busy.

Good god, if we were all docile, pussified, electronic geeks like Cygnus, this place would fucking implode! Man, I've got friends on this forum that I've never even laid eyes on and I'd bust a fucking gut to help anyone of them in a time of need! Then, there are some on this board I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire! Those, I simply ignore or post pictures ridiculing their goofy asses until I get bored!

Having said that, if you want to quit the forums, this type of thread is not the way to do it. I recently quit a forum and to prevent this kind of blah, blah, blah, I sent the admin a PM saying I needed to leave, best of luck with the site. Then fucking leave!

I've been here less than a year. I've met some great people, and I've gotten some chuckles from some of the rants/bs, etc.

I have been on a number of forums, I've found that you either get what you need (info, friends, whatever ) and you stick - if only as a lurker - or you don't: then you leave.
