Bill I’ve got nothing against you personally and you’ve done absolutely nothing to deserve me calling you out. To be perfectly honest with you, and myself, I envy you man. I hate to fucking admit that, but I do, so whatever.

I know that this isn’t the right way to quit a forum. I honestly believed the post would get ignored and my account suddenly wouldn’t work anymore. Thinking back on it, I know that my thinking was pretty fucking retarded.

I have been feeling a little sorry for myself lately; I don’t pretend to know why, I just have, and I really chose the wrong way to express it.

Anyway, yes, I feel like an asshole and I deserve whatever crap I get for writing this completely ridiculous thread in the first place.

just let it go and walk away from the place for a while, Steve. Plenty of us have been there and done that before. Some of us return, some don't. Some talk about it when they get back and some wonder if anyone even noticed that they went away for a while.

I had to take a long break myself a few years back. This place was the one thing keeping me sane for a long time and then it stopped working for me. So I left for a few months, not knowing whether I'd ever return. The break was good. I post a lot less now & occassionally will drop out for a week or more at a time, but the perspective obtained was good for me.

Don't cash in your chips yet. Just give the place a break. And come back when you're ready. Most of us will still be here

Seriously, compared to most forums, this place is an oasis of civility and intelligence. Take the Harmony Central amp forum for example. Never have I witnessed such a collection of synaptically challenged lobotomy patients. It boggles the mind.

Oh good god. I think I lasted 5 posts at that place before the lack of intelligence began to drag down my IQ and I quit.
