Dan Erlewine books ?

I just ordered Dan's guitar repair guide and was thinking about getting one of his other books, How to make your guitar play great but was wondering if the same material was covered in the repair guide book. The repair book has 322 pages while the making your guitar play great has 133. Looks to me like a lot of what's in the 2nd book may be in the 1st. Is this correct? or is it worth getting them both. Opinions please from those of you who have looked at or have both books. ....thanks guys & gals

I have both.

Get the other book. It deals more specifically with setups than repairs, and I find it much more useful.

I've driven to Dan's house and had him work on a couple of my guitars. That's why I bought the books. He does excellent work, but it cost a lot as well

I have both as well and it's definitely worth having both.
