the better team won last night. if the Rangers didn't wait until game 7 to get it together, they just may have stolen a series. this routine of theirs is really starting to tear away at the fabric of things in my house. they along with the Jets always suck you into hoping, even when you know they're gonna gag.
i saw as much of the devil game as i could as much of it was offset from the "manger" game, and did watch the ending. it sounded like brent sutter was gonna shoot himself after .
Bruins in 5
Caps in 6
Wings in 7
Hawks-Canucks- pick 'emNot helping the situation since 1965!

if you look back a page or two i was expecting the collapse when they were up 3-1.
it's called "Jet Ream", it's a condition instilled in the fan early on from progressive short comings-lol
I knew you were pulling for me Clifford, I could feel the love.
No fukkin' games tonite.
I figure it this way, the only thing standing in the way of Los Wingos des Reddos
is that opening day bonehead Joe Elliot move putting the Stanley Cup upside down
during the pre-game, other than that they're playing a hot Ducks team.
Hawks-Canucks - i give the edge to Luongo goalie wise, but they've been resting a while, who knows. hawks are gonna be a good team for a long time man, they're all kids. That's the toughest series to pick of the 4 by far.
Bruins should take care of business, but the hurricanes are a different team now, could be close, could be a boston blowout.
I think the caps are gonna win, but i'm only going off their regular season success over the Pens. 3-0-1, then again they were 3-0-1 against the Dangers and look what almost happened there. Pens had a rest and not too long of one, just the right amount. Looking forward to watching that series. Not helping the situation since 1965!

Flyers had come back to win Game 6 in OT in Philly. Next day they are playing in Tampa Bay. WTF? I hate that, and I feel it ultimately costs the team on that was at home the prior day the game, though it shouldn't be as bad with the distance being what it is, but is still very lame and turns good playoff hockey into a flip of the coin.

Round 2 will be interesting and some good hockey. I'm pulling for the Wings to prevail but hey, its the playoffs and anything and everything can happen. The Ducks are playing some rpetty good hockey, beat a good team in the Sharks but the Sharks can't elevate their game during the playoffs when it matters, Detroit can.
All series will be pretty intense and physical. He who has the most bodies standing moves on to the conference finals. There will be some banging and injuries...shawnlutz.com
