Well, I'm glad I don't get NBC so I wouldn't be screaming, raising hell and having the blood pressure go through the roof. Pens don't have a hope in hell after tonight.
Flippy's shot was a thing of beauty.
Two games in a row now Zetterberg is making me think he's better than Conklin-lol
Pens should rebound in the next game, then again, Los Wingos des Reddos are pretty fukkin' good.
All the other BS aside, the last two games have come down to "Osgood > Fleury". Unlike last year the Pens are getting their chances and outshooting the Wings...they just can't convert those chances into goals. Fleury will need to get his head out of his ass if the Pens are to make a come back.
I saw the press conference in which Babcock made that statement. Written it seems like he was attacking Crosby but in the statement, if you could watch it and hear him say it, it didn't seem like a negative comment at all. It was very complimentary.
Crosby has to realize that the net is 2 inches smaller than he has been thinking (I know...I know) and Malkin has also been drawn into the frustration now...not good. I think Malkin should have ben suspended for game 3 but that's just because there is a rule that says that he should have been.
There is a lot of crap officiating that is continuing on into this series but in my opinion the Hossa thing isn't evn a penalty anyway. Lifting a stick then having the sticks get tangled and having one break...no way. If we go down that road eventually when someone has the puck the opposition won't be allowed to do anything other than skate toward their own goalie and wait to see if they can get the rebound before the puck carrier.
I expect Pittsbirgh to be flying in game 3.
Have I mentioned that Bettman is a weasel?
My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.
Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.

Yeah I really don't understand how Carcillo gets fined, suspended for a game for a hit near the end of the game in the Flyers/Pens series, yet Malkin gets in a fight which is clearly trying to "send a message" and nothing happens to him.
Both games have been great. End to end action and few penalties. Osgood has been the difference for sure... you could almost say he stole the game last night
The Wings are so good, they're gonna be tough to beat. Pittsburg is no slouch either. If they weren't playing the Wings, they would probably win the cup this year.
I didn't think the Malkin fight deserved a suspension. Two stars fighting and going at it is all that was. Makes for good hockey in game 3. Still a lot of hockey to be played. Each team had moments where they looked tired and then they got a extra wind to keep them going. The day of rest will do both teams good.
Fleury has to play better to give the Penguins a chance. The Penguins defence hasn't helped much either.
I just hope the refs stay consistant. They are letting a lot of things slide on both sides of the ice. Don't change the tone midway through the series. Let the teams keep playing.
