I'm pretty sore today but otherwise unhurt. Idiot went through a stop sign in the parking lot at work yesterday. He told the cop his foot slipped off the clutch and the car jumped forward...The cop looked at the damage to my car and said to the guy "You wanna try again?"

Yeah, he has insurance. Not sure whether or not to pursue personal injury compensation for the pain I'm having today. I went to the hospital afterwards to get checked out and was told it's all muscle stuff and a slight hip contusion.

The thing about internal damage, especially in your back, is that your physical condition could hide damage to your spine. My Mother was in good physical shape when she slipped and fell in a K-Mart back in 1990. A year later she found out her tailbone had been crushed when she landed, but it went undetectable for a year because her back muscles were in such great shape.

While some of the soreness in your back is indeed muscle strain, understand that your muscles can dislocate joints and shift vertebrae if they pull hard enough.
I'd definitely get a full spinal checkup from neck to hips before settling for just the repairs to the car.

Yep heriniated to discs in my thorasic T7-T8-T9 during a car chase in '94. The pain and arthritis only gets much worse with age. On top on that I got broke my neck, losing my left arm and playing hand...but I still play somehow.

Get checked out. If the pain perisists get an MRI.

I got T-boned in a work van years ago. I was young and stupid. The boss got the money and a was sure the neck pain and headaches were nothing.
Now I'm old and stupid with neck pain, headaches and a vision problem.
