I posted this in another thread but wanted to throw it out in case anyone is looking for a bit cheaper option for straplocks. Just got Marvel straplocks for 3 of my guitars. Kelly XL, DKMG, and a Warlock so 3 different shapes and weights... They seem really nice. A little rattle if you shake it but no more than my dunlops on my strat. The design seems more solid going over the button as opposed to inside like the dunlop and it feels tighter. Has 5 balls instead of 3, not that I think that'll really matter but OK. Just in case anyone was looking for an option. $24 and change shipped on ebay for 3 sets. We'll see how the finish holds up but it looks good now. They have black, gold, and chrome too.

I find the Schallers are my preferred brand although I don't mind the Dunlop ones. I don't know why but the DiMarzio cliplock ones scare the bejeebers out of me. I know they are solid but my brain keeps screaming "The clip will undo!" at me.GTWGITS! - RacerX

I don't use strap locks on any of my guitars. The Jackson strap button are plenty big to keep a strap on there. On my Gibsons I use the rubber washers from Grolsch beer bottles. Never had a guitar come off the strap. I can't say the same for my lead guitarist whose worn out strap locks almost cost him a LP Custom at a gig, not to mention looking all silly trying to play and rehook his strap at the same time.Scott
