On the bright side, after finding all 3 music stores in the area, I ended up buying this for 119 bucks, just to have something to do (other than touch meself )

Of the 4 or 5 in the store, this was the only one with a quartersawn neck.

I think it's a matter of luck with the chinese mfg process, but hell, it actually plays ok.

    Nice travel guitar.

I've got some Duncan pickups being custom wound that will find a nice home in this little piggie.

Will be a simple matter to drill out the tuners and install some proper ones.

    Good fun, on the cheap.

    Yes, somewhat fett-like... I won't deny it.

Utica scares me. I always seem to get lost in the bombed out sections.

Wait, so you went to Utica to spend $1/pick on picks that cost 25 cents each, or 12 for $3.39 on MF?

                          Unfortunately, yes, Tommy.

I was stuck in the Utica area for an overnighter last summer. It was...ummm....interesting.

Now now - anyone who likes Brooklyn Brewery, Saranac or Genny Cream Ale shouldn't say anything bad about Utica.
