Yeah I noticed that IE8 doesn't suck as much. I still like Firefox or Chrome better though.

Well, if they can make those programs, where's the problem? Granted MS used to give a lot of that stuff away free, but they also had stuff you had to buy (Office with all the advanced stuff).
However, what these companies should be focusing on is 100% format compatability so I can edit a PowerPoint presentation or Excel file in Quattro or whatever anyone else's counterpart, and vice versa. I've had it with all this "proprietary format" crap that doesn't work on anything except the system it was made on.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
