Yep, 560 at the wheels, Thats roughly 670 hp at the motor. Not bad for my home brewed and built creation eh? BTW, Bill it doesn't matter what color you paint the Cobra whether pink or otherwise, it will remain very cool! Cobras Rock!

Hey Bill, I've been down the sports car trail many years ago. It was fun, but the expense and the "down time" was constantly aggravating. The older I get, the less patience I seem to have.

My neighbor is an avid "dirt biker" and he's been trying desperately to get me back into riding. He races the GNCC Series with a partial sponsorship from KTM. So, I'm looking REAL hard at pulling the trigger on the KTM 450 pictured above. Like they say, the only thing worse than a fool is an old fool!

Good thread Bill! This pic is a couple years old, but she's still kicking even though her track days are over. In race form she put down about 360 to all four wheels. Not bad for a 4-banger. Love the Factory 5's though, gorgeous cars. One of these days...

Mark, you should look at a Supermotard or a Hypermotard. Killer bikes. KTM and Aprilia make really cool ones. I think the KTM is a 650.

Hey John, this is a picture of Husaberg's new 570. If you think the Japanese are innovative, check out the engine and gear box on this beauty! Husaberg had changed the angle of the cylinder head and placed it directly above the gear case. This has done two things. 1) it's altered the center of gravity making the bike almost perfectly balanced and 2) it's provided a "straight shot" for the fuel leaving the gas tank to enter the EFI system.

One other cool feature is that the sub-frame in made entirely of plastic. The price for technology? How's about $10,000 for a fucking dirt bike!

I never had a really nice picture, so I just had to post this one! It was in the 50's today but a beautiful day anywhoo. I got into my first race this year.. A really nice Grand National wanted to try it and we did. He was both bummed and impressed. Damn this thing is fast!! I can't imagine Rudy's or Clevo-John's motor in this thing..that would be NUTS!!!

Be careful on yer bikes man...I see girls texting while driving constantly!!! I feel vunerable in the Cobra. With my luck, I'd get hit by a Hummer.

Another thing putting a damper on some fun is these damn portable speed cameras...fuckers!! I was thinking about trying that reflective spray for my rear plate. The only good thing is no points on your driving record..it's just a money grab. Cities are making millions of dollars, so they're here to stay. It is what it is..big brother is watching. Rob Halford called it 27 years ago with "Electric Eye"..

It's a crapshoot everytime you kick it in the ass. Oh well..
