They're trying to link everything together, it's the whole eBay/Paypal bullshit all over again. Every time I go to log in it asks me to link my gmail account to youtube, and I don't want to, but, seems like I can't log in without doing that.


I'm sincerely surprised they haven't restricted access to certain video's for "premium" members yet, I wonder how long it will take for them to pull that bullshit stunt..

Anyways, they're cracking down on music within music video's, and as much as that does suck, I can understand where an artist is coming from , because, once again, it's practically illegal downloading and the artists are getting screwed from the cash..

Meh, Youtube is becoming too big for their own good..

I think the video's are defaulted to be on mute.. Adjust the sound via youtube player..

Yep, and remember how once we thought that this interweb was going to be the great freedom solution to the oppressed masses of the world, delivering truth and information to those kept under the cosh of tyranny? Then Google decided it didn't want to upset the Chinks and Youtube started blocking content to certain countries. Certainly sounds like censorship and oppression all over again, even if it is under the banner of copyrights.

Find an alternative, use it, then say "fuck you" to companies like Google and Youtube, they have got too big and self-important. One day they'll disappear up their own arseholes, no-one is too big or important. There will be another alternative along soon, if it isn't already here, that we can migrate to until they get bought out by the corporate erm, "cocksmokers" (thank you Endrik) and our balls get squeezed again.

there are things like Dailymotion and Metacafe but there's a lot less users compared to Youtube so there's not everything... but then again there's a lot of stuff you wont ever see on youtube... fore example there's shitloads of videos which show tits and pussy (no hardcore though but you can see all the nude scenes from all kinds of movies)... I think stuff like Dailymotion is aimed mostly for the old world folks because most of the videos of poon are posted by members who are from GB, Italy, France, Spain etc. at least that's what I've noticed.

What I don't get is that a lot of videos groups like WMG take the sound away from videos or get them taken down would be great advertising for them. I've found so many bands by just looking on Youtube. The "Not Available in Your Country" drives me nuts.
