I have a crappy classical guitar (was a gift) that I play Romanza on... and actually used for a year of Classical guitar lessons.

So I am familiar with the general range of techniques used (at least at a rudimentary level)

Any pieces you would recommend? (the stuff I got from my former classical teacher all sound way too "academic")

Doesn't matter really, you can take Malaguena or something like that but you know all that stuff is interpreted differently by everyone... what you should do is just take the chord progression of something you like and add a couple of melodic lines and you are done. It could be a flamenco tune or Catalunyan folk song or whatever. Spanish music has its certain chord progressions and to make the songs different the players just add different feel to them, specially rhythmic changes, doing different compas and whatnot.
For example you can play chord progression Am, G7, F7, E7. Just choose the rhythmic patterns and a tempo you like and add some melodic lines. It's very common, in complex Flamenco or simple Spanish folk tunes.

It doesn't matter what tune, as long as it has that "Spanish" vibe which makes the chicks wet. Or you can play Antonio Banderas "Cancion del Mariachi" just because everyone knows that
Difficult flamenco techniques aren't important if you want to score some ass.

Of course you can also play Bossa Nova or anything that sounds Southern. Italian folk songs, French gypsy tunes or whatever. Just to make you look sophisticated and different in their eyes

The only time we are "sensitive" is when we catch the seam of our beanbag while shavin'!!

I hate when that happens..then there's peices of toilet paper stuck all over your sack. Sometimes I gotta shove one of my wife's panty liners down my breifs, or use super glue to stop the hemmoraging blow fish. But that's the price of awesomeness!!

Exactly..like a funk bass player..which I am. With Meanstreet, it pretty easy. Especially when just semi-engorged ..so that it's still flexible and easy to bounce off the 12th fret while getting that rythm goin' down by the 2nd fret. But you DO sorta flick to articulate the harmonics. Your peehole actually touches the individual octaves..just like "Slap The Night Away"..

There hasn't been a single chick that wasn't impressed with that!!!

..I was trying to find that!!!! Racer X (Ron) posted that one a few years ago. Yes, that's about right..I can do that!..The slappin' is easy, but the pluck on the upswing leaves me pretty chafe..
