A&R select ?

Any of you guys have or had experience with this co. out of Hollywood? The band was contacted by them and they expressed interest in one of our tunes. They are supposed to be an artist development and marketing company. Just wondering if they are even semi- legit or just another scam tryin' to get poor musicians $$$$$$$$......as if we really had any! OH, but they'll take credit cards!
Anyhow any info would be greatly appreciated,pro or con thanks..cb

Thank You Carbuff, interesting read indeed!...guess we wont be going there. I always thought anyone really interested in a band or their music would want a percentage of the big pie as opposed to a small one time payment.Thanks again I hope others are reading the link as well
