Yeah, I know I'll probably get a wide range of opinions on this one(or none at all like usual). I caught the show at The House of Blues in Houston last night. Good times...great live show. Worth a look when they come your way IMO. Robin Trower is there tonight, wish I could make that show but got too much going on. Anyway, those of you looking for flashback fun should go give a listen.

Johansen and Sylvain are as ugly as ever, but tear the stage up. The other guitarist, bass player, and drummer are a great fit IMO. Johansen still has the voice, and Sylvain still has the chops. I went with three others who all felt the same way. It was fun break from metal shows. Call me ghey, but I've always liked glam.

The New York Dolls were great. I can't imagine what they look like now. They didn't look that good in the 70's.

Oh, Black Joe Lewis opened for them. Now that was a show all by itself. http://www.myspace.com/blackjoelewis
Black Joe had a nasty tone(in a good way) and strangled the axe like a fucking alley cat. Fun as hell to watch.
