  • Jam a wiener down your throat for those of us stuck in the office today!

We are having a little mini heatwave here (25 celcius) and it would be an awesome day to sit at a ballpark eating and drinking things that are bad for you.

I'll drink a beer or eat some nachos but your going to need a San Francisco fan to jam a weiner down his throat for you.

      • GREAT win by the Yankees today. Burnett pitched well, and Mo's cutter looked outstanding in the 9th. First time the Yankees took a series in Anaheim since 2004.

2 of 3 in Anaslime. Still in disbelief. 11 k's for AJ.

I'm here lurking in between jobs. Getting ready to relocate the shop so I've been putting the finishing touches on the new building. Trying to get some lesson rooms finished off before the doors open the first week of October. I'm running the existing shop by day and making all the preps at the new place by night.
The new shop is bigger, much nicer and cheaper. It's on a very busy street across from a pretty prestigious college with a big music program and a brand new arts/theater venue that runs broadway productions as well as campus stuff too.
It also has an apt upstairs that will save me from a 45 minute drive every day and god knows how much gas as well.
Thank god I have a radio to keep up with the ball games and a blackberry for all the shit the radio doesn't cover.. Cards Magic # is 1...

                • Tommy...who would you prefer the Yankees face in the first round? Tigers or Twins? I'm not sure who I would prefer to be honest with you, although I find myself now checking the scores for both teams to see what's happening in that division.

                  • Tigers are stumbling right now so if I were a Yankee fan, I'd rather face them that the Twins who've been pretty hot, 9-1 in the last 10

                    • Twins anyday, anytime, any year. The Yankees own the Twinkies.

                        • Guys.. I need help with the math.. Yanks have 9 games left Rsox are 6.5 games behind. Yanks magic number is 5 and they clinched a playoff spot last night.
Cards have 9 games left.. Cubs are 10 games behind with 11 games left to play.
Cards have not clinched a playoff spot..What gives? Is it due to the percentages?
This whole wild card shit drives me nuts.

                          • If the cards lost all 9, and the cubs won all 11, then it's not a good ending for you-lol they'd be tied.
Wonder what the odds on that would be?????????
                            14,000,000,000,000,000,000-1

Thats what I thought but wanted to double check.. and the odds of the Cubs doing that are about the same as well .. the Cubs doing that.
