Cubs hold off the inevitable last night. Cards go for the clinch tonight. I tried to get Cards playoff tickets for the wife this morning. Could have got seats in the bleachers...they wanted $153/each. That included food, beer, etc. but $600 for me, the wife and kids to go to one game...not sure about that. So I passed.

Yeah, typical Ozzie. I think half of that club has him tuned out with all his stupid pet tricks.

Braves coming on hard at the end, and have an easier schedule than the Rockies. That'll be an interesting race to see.

Congrats to the Yankees! Home-field advantage, and the 1st division title in 3 years! anyone wanting to win the WS this year is going to have to win some games in the Bronx! Pettite looked good yesterday, not spectacular. Typical Andy effort though. Now they have time to setup their rotation

andy had a rough start but then he put 10 of 'em down in a row and settled in. He looked unhittable from the 4th, 5th, and 6th.
I like Ozzie G. he's shithouse crazy, I do like that. I'm gonna look for the tirade on youtube or MLB.com and see if we can post it up here.
