  • JK- I have the MLB package, the game is on the Yankees Yes Network channel.

If the Yankees keep Joba in his normal slot the rotation would be:
    8/12-Burnett--Toronto
    8/13-Sabathia---Seattle
    8/14-Pettitte--Seattle
    8/15--Mitre--Seattle
    8/16--Chamberlain--Seattle
    8/17-Burnett--Oakland
    8/18--Sabathia--Oakland
    8/19--Pettitte--Oakland
    8/20--Off Day
    8/21--Chamberlain--Boston
    8/22--Burnett--Boston
    8/23--Sabathia--Boston
That would also allow the Yankees to skip Chamberlain on the off day and keep everyone else on regular rest. I don't know what the hell they're doing-lol lol lol

      • Yanks win in 11 on a Robinson Cano walk off double. Well, it would have been a double if necessary. Hit a home run too, he crushed the ball today. Oddly, he's my favorite Yankee. He looks so aloof out there, and I'm convinced he's on sedatives at times, but he hits the ball and has a sweet swing too. 2nd least errors at 2nd base in the majors so far. Having a good year.

We seem to have a crew thats having fun this year. Something they've been lacking for a bunch of years. Swisher is a jokster, but has been hammering the ball. Burnett, another locker room comedian, and fast becoming my favorite Yankee. Teixiera it fitting right at home too. We don't have to worry about anything hit toward 1st base. It a joy lately to watch the Yanks on TV.

          • a couple of concerns Donny, rivera took a later flight out to seattle yesterday, something about his arm was bothering him. Arod got plunked and lost the feeling in his hand for a while yesterday, he may miss a few days. Jeter is o.k. after getting hit as well in the foot. He only played 2 innings yesterday.
So far Teixeira and Ibanez have been the two best F.A. signings by far.

            • baseball during the summer would be a lot more interesting if pitchers would throw the balls at the Angels fans

                • Yankees get to miss King Felix who pitched a gem last night against the White Sox.

On a separate note, I'm heading out to San Diego on vacation next week and putting in a stop at Petco. My wife is from St. Louis so we're getting to see the Cards while we're there. I've heard good things about Petco....everything about it is supposed to be top-notch. Except the team.

                    • Verlander has thrown a beauty today.
2-0 Tigers, bottom 9, 1 out in Boston.
                      Verlander out, not over yet.

                      • 4 hits for the Sox, and only 5 for the Tigers.
What a game. Verlander hit 100 m.p.h. in the 8th inning.

                        • Yanks maintain 6 game lead. Nicey nice. Seattle tonight, being an east coast wimp I'll probably make it through the first 3 pitches before falling asleep.

Can't stand west coast swings. Wish they could somehow get the starts back to 6pm PST instead, or 6:30pm at least.

Amazing. Only 48 games left in the season. Went fast this year.

                          • 6.5 if the yanks don't have a letdown. season is starting to move by now I agree.
Sabbathia goes tonight, his record in august over his career has been pretty stellar.
Yanks are facing a new guy tonight, with 6 plus e.r.a., those are the guys that shut them down-lol
they'll either jump right on him, or not score until the 7th or 8th.

                            • Tigers avoid being swept.

Yep Tommy. Verlander had the heat going on. He's seems to keep some in the tank and evnn with a high pitch count in the later innings. If he gets in the jam he'll throw 100, 101 in the 7th and 8th innings.
