Yanks pounded the hell out of the Mariners. Sabbathia was as good last night as he was against Boston last weekend. matsui can't walk anymore but he can still hit like hell-lol 4 for 5, 2 home runs. needed that win last night, Pettitte tonight, but Mitre and Gaudin to round out this series, hold your breath.

Feldman won his 12th game yesterday.
Lester vs. Millwood tonight. Should be fun to watch.
Yankees need to take care of "coffeeland" again tonight cuz Mitre and Gaudin are rounding out the weekend. Did i mention that already?-lol

Well, the Rangers messed that one up pretty good.
That's a huge comeback for Boston, they needed that one , and Texas has to be bummed. Still have a chance to take 2 of 3 still.
Yankees look sickly at the plate tonight. 2-2 in the 6th.

Yeah, Rangers choked on a red sock. Frankie giving up 6 runs, 30+ pitches in the 9th is not what I call a closer There were about 40k at the ballpark in Arlington tonight, 20k had to be Red Sox fans.

Last night my left hand was cramping, and not from the usual spanking. I was ping ponging back and forth from the Jets-Rams, to the Sox-Rangers, to the Broncos-49ers, to the Yankees-Mariners. Remote needs new batteries, I wailed the piss out of it last night.

Two guys were drilled in the head yesterday, David Wright on the mets, and Kinsler on texas.
Dodgers pitcher was hit in the head with a line drive. Scary stuff.

At least Kinsler didnt take a 94 MPH to the noggin like Wright did..I got a headache just thinking about that one. Kinsler went to first base and enough to yap at geezer Varitek....who btw has a weaker arm than my sister...8 stolen bases last night. Wright got a trip to the hospital.

How about those Ranger kids? Holland, Feliz, Elvis and Julio Borbon who going 4-5 and 4 SB's. Future looks good in Texas until these guys want to ge paid...lol

Day games today all around..hope the Rangers can take the rubber match and pass Boston in the wild card and Tigers can keep the White Sox off their asses.

Yankee's could take a few weeks off and still be on top of the AL East...best team in baseball right now and playing like it too

Maybe Smoltz can help out in the Phils pen, I support Lidge, but man he's making it tougher than it should be this year. This division is crap and it shouldn't be less than double digits to the 2nd place team.

Lidge was 41 for 41 last year. this year he's 22 for 30.
That's a big drop. At least the mets entire roster got injured, outside of them, you have nothing to worry about.
Marlins making noise, atlanta not playing horribly, but they're nowhere near as good as the Phillies. i don't see anyone beating them this year. In the national League at least.

Plays of the day yesterday was about 10 yer old kid at the Rangers/Red Sox game...kid caught 2 foul balls off the bat of Josh Hamilton.....the same AB. The first one was a nice pop foul, crowd cheered when he made the catch so they showed a replay of it. 2-3 pitches later the same kid made a nice backhand snag...he got a standing ovation from the Texas crowd I never seen that before...thenm the kid gives his dad the 2 balls..guess he thought he had to clear the glove and hand for a 3rd one..lol

That's amazing. I've been to hundreds of games in my life. Hundreds upon hundreds, and I still have never caught a ball. That really bugs me.
