        • And Phil Coke comes in for the 7th and ruins a great pitching display by AJ
6-2 Rangers on two 3 run homers today.

          • Kinsler again. 7-2. Slacker Special of the week is not going well at all.
Yankees are anemic at the plate today. Arod and Cano have both left 6-plus men each on base today.

              • AJ was dominant. Coke fielded a bunt that he should of let Arod field and threw a ball that pulled Cano off the bag. That was the difference maker, outside of Kinsler's awesome hitting.

Well, it's only the 2nd series the Yankees have lost in the last 17 they have played.
16-4 at home since the All Star break, I'll take it.
Should have taken that bet Shawwny Boy-lol

                    • So they're going to do the old "double reverse" fakeout?-lol
Drop him, and then pick him right back up.........
I like that, I don't think Mr. Penny would though.

                            • DAMN Coke! AJ pitched great from what I've read. Thanks for the updates yesterday, Tommy. White Sox helped the Yanks out by beating the RS finally.

Did you hear Rich Harden got claimed off of waivers? God, I hope the Yanks put the claim in on him. Great insurance for that black hole that is developing in the rotation...also known as Joba +#5 starter.

                              • I found this pretty funny:

"According ESPN.com, the Yankees threw a wench into the Mets-Red Sox deal for Billy Wagner by claiming Chris Carter off waivers.

Carter, a first baseman-outfielder at Triple A-Pawtucket, reportedly was placed on waivers, with the intention of moving him to the Mets. Boston, in order to complete the Wagner deal, had to pull Carter back from waivers and now must carry him on their 40-man roster for the rest of the season."
