I grew up loving MLB as a kid and would even listen to the games on an AM radio. Sorta said FU to it after the strike (other than the World Series) but got back into following it it the last few seasons.

NHL is my favorite sport because that was what I was the best at playing and played SERIOUS from 6-21 yr/old. Played AAA but but figured playing guitar would get me more tail...the NHL would have gotten me more coin and more tail eventually :0

NFL what can you say? There's nothing cooler than football in the fall. I'm also a big college football fan.

I went through spurts of equally digging NBA and college basketball but not so much lately.

I just love competition of any kind....I'd watch 2 crack whores fighting over the last rock just to se who'd win LOL

I still listen to the games on an AM radio. I'm learning to like NCAA football more than NFL. I get pissed over the schools making bazillions of $$$$$ off these kids but hell I'm in business to make money too

I think Cards will clinch first just because the Cubs will lose more than the Red Sox will in the last two weeks. ATD...did you register for Cardinals post-game tickets? I guess they run a lottery and you can sign up online. My wife (big STL fan) had us sign up last night. So I guess if we get picked I'm taking a road trip to see a game.

Yanks-Cards World Series would be a great time in my house. The trash talking between the kids, the wife and me would make for a fun couple of weeks!

in my opinion, stat of the day is a tie between jeter tying gehrig, and hats off to Brian Roberts of the Orioles.
Hits his 50th double of the season for the 3rd time in his career. He joins some some outrageous company in this feat. the other 3 to do it are all hall of famers.

I didn't sign up for tix. Things are starting to get crazy around here and I have no idea how busy I'm going to be. The christmas rush is starting soon and another local shop is closing its doors. It means I will be double busy this year.
If you make the trip for a cards game let me know. Would be great to meet you and your wife for a drink or 2.
