funny they didnt call an error on the pop up the fell at the feet of Aybar which really scored the winning run in the first...How they score that an RBI single for Matsui is beyond me. A 7 yr old shortstop woulda had that pop up

That was the shortstops ball. very windy out there, lots of miscues.
Glad they won, but I want to win badly tomorrow as well. Then maybe I'll smile a little bit. AJ cannot walk 5 and hit 2 against the angels, the reason CC was great was due to the small amount of baserunners that got on, it allows a pitcher to work better.

Why did Pedro get pulled? He threw amazingly today. i think Utley is hurt, that guy doesn't make throws like that.

That's the first AL game I have watched in as long as I can remember. CC looked good but so did Lackey. Aybar should be demoted to tee ball after that ball that dropped at his feet. At least in tee ball there would have been 9 kids scrambling to get that ball. After watching replay #147 Aroid is still safe. Close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades but they applied the same theory on the call at first base as well.
It looks like the cooler weather was really keeping the ball in the yard.
The stadium looked like they were dressed for Siberia not a cool night in NY.
For me it was cool to just sit and watch a game where the outcome didn't matter as much as how both teams were playing the game.
Congrats the the winners and my condolences to the losers.
16 weeks till pitchers and catchers report to spring training !!!!

I thought Teixeira's cleat toe was still on the bag when he caught it before it came off. I thought the ball was gonna carry last night, but it didn't.
In April when it was cold this year, there were 87 homeruns hit in that stadium in the fisrt 23 games there, but it didn't work out like that at all.
Whoever plays small ball the best will win this series.

I do NOTget that pitching change in the 11th, Aceves in for Robertson. Right hander for right hander...wtf after only facing 2 batters and looking prety good.

That has to be pretty embarrassing for Damon to get yanked for D reasons because my sister has a better arm than him...lol
