So are Depp and Bonham Carter the only actors that Burton will work with, or the only actors who will work with Burton?

I cant stand 95% of his work... sad to see another classic ruined by his fucked up imagination.

I love his art concepts, I love his art, it's so exotic and out there, but it really does serve a purpose, IMO. But to each his own!

Alice in Wonderland is a fucked up concept in itself, though, the movie is like a bad acid trip, and if it were to be remade, it should be done right, and I'm sure Tim Burton of all people could take a twisted vision and make it even more delightful.

Man I sound like I'm hitting the crack pipe.

which other classics has he ruined for you, Rob? Nightmare Before Christmas? Edward Scissorhands?

You can't be talking about that sugary sweet kids flick, the original Charlie & The Chocolate Factory? That deviated so far from the book it wasn't funny, I believe they were rewriting the ending as it was being filmed. Burton at least attempted to be truer to the book.

Seems strange that you would subject yourself to his movies to make your 95% assessment on it considering you can't stand his work.

I dont care for musicals regardless of who does them, if they animated, or live action. I fell asleep watching TNBC. His other stuff is pretty good. Sleepy Hollow is probably my favorite.

Wow this movie looks twisted already. Burton definitely has a style.

I have seen it once and it was funny. I have no desire to see it again. I do like Rocky Horror. That is probably the exception. I blame my sister. When Grease came out I had to hear that album and her sing to it so much I wanted to kill Travolta. After that if a movie had any spontaneous singing in it I would pretty much avoid it.
