Thanks Martin I'm glad I'm not alone ! If I hear him scream-o in another song I'm gonna break my shit ass speakers or TV set and I certainly don't want to do that. I was watching a re-run of that Rock honors yesterday for The Who, I was wanting to see Pearl Jam and the first idiot they jam down my throat is this annoying mo-fo ... whew ... I don't get all the hate. I actually like the Foo Fighters - they're good if I feel a need for some straight-ahead rock (as I occasionally do).
But regardless of my own feelings for the band or their leader, I don't get all the hate. I don't hate Abba or Kenny G or Metallica or Burzum or the Bay City Rollers either. If I don't like something, I don't listen to it. You don't have to listen to the radio or watch Top 40 music tv. If my kids throw on Channel V or MTV, I'm usually off doing something else anyway, and the little bit of JayZ, Beyonce or Plain White Tees I hear is hardly doing any irreparable damage & is quickly forgotten.Hail yesterdayComment

Thirds on liking Grohl - Nirvana blew goats, but Grohl can write a catchy tune, doesn't seem to have any ego issues, gives props to metal, and has a good time. Hell he plays every instrument too.

Grohl actually knows his metal. I didn't think he would but I was impressed with an interview he did a while back. That's pretty much all I know about Dave Grohl.
