  • I hate whiny bitches

    Rant time.

I was on Facebook and read a status message someone had left that said how tired they were and how rought it is working 10 hours a day and ONLY sleeping 8 hours a night. Also, the guy was bitching about having to walk uphill to his classes on campus. Then, I read another status message about how pissed off someone was at their boss for not letting them have a 3-day weekend and how they deserved a vacation.

Icing on the cake: I told one of them to keep their head up and it'll be okay, then the little fuck wrote me back, and I quote:

"You don't know what it's like. My life sucks."

    Commence the e-facefucking...

"I don't know what it's like? I'm sorry, it must be rough to be cradled in your parents gooch since birth. It must be real hard working at a fucking McDonald's for 8 hours a day making the same salary I do, if not more, and you get to take whatever time you want off. I haven't taken a shower in 3 weeks because we don't have running water. I haven't had a letter from home since I returned to Afghanistan June 1st. Birds won't bring us mail because the last time a contract flight came near our COP it was shot down with an anti-aircraft gun. We have enough food to last us for another 12 days eating 2 meals a day and after that it's all rations. I sleep around 2 or 3 hours a night on a good night and my 8 hours of guard duty a day are comparable to your 8 hours at your pissass job. Then, when I'm not on guard, I go on patrols or missions...sometimes for days on end, catching maybe an hour of sleep while we're outside the wire. I climb mountains all fucking day wearing a kit that weighs almost my body weight all the while managing communications with the rest of my Battalion. And I won't even mention firefights because the concept of life and death would be lost to you. So, pretty please with sugar on top, grow a pair and shut the fuck up."

    To which he responded:

    "Fuck you."

    No kidding, D.
    Happens all too frequently.

I'm just glad we have volunteer military, else twats like that would end up in a unit.

Unreal. Well let it be known that there are those who are grateful for your sacrifice. I was talking to a vet recently who had just gotten back from Iraq and he had a similar story.
There was someone in line in front of him at the grocery store that was bitching about the person in front of him taking too long and mentioned it to the guy. He told him where he had been for the last 15 months and he would be GLAD to stand in line all day long. Considering where he had been, that line was heaven.

        Thank you again DRM

            DRM,

For some reason I thought your name was David?
Having 2 names in the sig is even more confusing.

Unfortunately many so called Americans have forgotten the value of just about everything, thank you for your service and know that not all of us are disrespectful whiny bitches!!!

(ps ~ you may want to avoid the last Blazer thread)

Shoulda told the little bitch to catch a plane to the sandpit and declare his allegiance to the Muhammadeen, then to stand up waving a big orange flag so you'd know which asshole to shoot first.
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

                  Bless them.

Wassup Dave, nice to see you. I hear you on the whiny bitches. Not that I would know anything about Facebook, Mespace, or Twatter and ect. I have no use for that shit.

That way my JCF homies have my absolute undivided attention. Like poor lil' Blazer did...may he ..

Thank you, bro. I met a paratrooper who jumped into Operation Torch in North Africa, WWII, from the 509th Airborne while I was coming back to Afghanistan. I was immediately humbled by his presence and carried his carry-on bag for him to his gate and shook his hand. One of the proudest moments of my life was meeting an ORIGINAL Geronimo.

For the record...if I ever come across like I'M complaining about something, tell me to STFU. I might sarcastically make a comment about something being rough or something, but I try not to ever undermind someone else's experiences. Everything is relative and I have been blessed with a great career thus far and a wonderful family. Don't be afraid to tell me to shut up if I ever complain...please, do it. Keep me in perspective.

You've got to love the sense of entitlement that comes from parents raising their kids to believe they are special and deserving of all the best life has to offer, whether or not they put forth any effort or make any sacrifice.
