Right in his ad he says you aren't getting paid for the gig until and unless he gets paid - which means he's gonna get the money, lie to you about the amount, and give you a tiny pittance. He won't get any pros with that pitch - maybe some talented kid or some trust fund guy, but hey, they might be good players!

Metal Mike just quit and left a message that was very polite and professional, which a lot of people took to mean he left because he wasn't getting paid. Bobby J must be getting paid, or at least getting room and board, if he's sticking around.

So:

No paycheck
No party - Bas has a sober band now
No pussy - 'cos you know Bas is gonna take all the pussy!

Not much inducement to audition in that case, IMO...

I can see where he is coming from. When regular guys are trying to get a band together,no one pays them to practice, write, promote,drive to gigs and practice and bang on doors.If the band gets a break they might make some dough. Since he is famous everyone wants a paycheck. Sounds like he just wants to get a band together. I wish I had my shit together a little more I would give it a shot.
