On a more serious note, that's pretty cool. I'm not sure how gay it might look though. It could be really cool or really gay.

would it look good on a uniform surface, like a guitar? because this effects appears on countoured surfaces when light hits them from different angles.

It's very cool, but I'd be sure to check out what all is involved with painting over a guitar that's been oil finished. A while back I was looking into getting one of the MZ naturals and having it refinished, and a couple of different pros said it could be a real headache, and that they wouldn't guarantee that a job like that wouldn't have problems down the road.

Isn't that pretty much the same as that holoflash deal?

              Very "Paul Stanley".
So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!

              I nearly broke her back

Y'know I was just looking at the guitar, and I am on the fence about refinishing it now. I spent a hell of a lot of work sanding that bitch down smooth. I'd hate to go through with it and in the end regretting that I did it.

I'm going to just leave it be as it really is probably my favorite guitar to play as it is. I really don't want to lose that y'know?

Maybe its time to get serious about finally building a guitar for myself.

Go for a flip flop or if you can afford it chrome illusion those paints kick ass...

That DNA stuff may or may not work...

I'm sure it would look cooler on a guitar than a dummy...

I think with the DNA thing you'd want it on an archtop. It seems to be the angle the light reflects that makes the color shifts so while it would change color on a flat surface it wouldn't give you multicolors at once that a rounded surface would.

That would look great on a 1972 Corvette.

Nah, if I was going to get a '72 vette, it would look like this one:

But I still like that paint I linked earlier.....Paul Stanley like or not
