I don't know if anyone here on the JCF spends much time over at Harmony Central, but one of the Amp Forum members took the initiative in coordinating a compilation CD featuring forum members' bands. There is a thread over at the HCAF discussing the gear that each band used as well. Pretty cool idea, especially since the only real goal is to cover the costs to make a physical press kit for all of the included bands, and send it out to magazines, websites and labels.

(The costs are just to pay for the mastering and artwork, and beyond that to do the press kits if there is enough.)
