Hey guys, just checkin' in, as you can inagine I'm mentally, physically spent. Thatnks for all your care and support..it means alot. Thanks to those who's contacted me, or tried to..I've been just so busy with the family and talking with police, witnesses and stuff.

Here's the thing, and even my peers in CPD agree with. I'll state the obvious in the only manner I know how..blunt.

My brother is a piece of shit, but he is my brother. He put himself in this position and he's laying in the shit he reaped..again. My family knows this. The only one in my family who will always be in denial is my mother..like 'Smacker said that's her baby..even if he killed the pope.

Here's my problem. Lies..I don't like liars, no matter of status. This officer was ORDERED by his boss to terminate the chase. This means TERMINATE, END, TURN AROUND, STOP ect..the chase. Well, for reasons like this. What the police didn't know was my brother was approx 300 feet from home. He would NOT have crashed if the police officer complied with his supervisor's orders nearly 3 miles prior. When the officer recieve orders to terminate, abort the chase..that means they, like everyone else must comply with ALL traffic laws..even if the fleeing suspect does not! Obviously this wasn't the case, and therefore the same CYA bs is being reported..the shit I know all too well. ALSO NO Cleveland police cars were contacted or in anyway involved in this pusuit. Police and EMS units were contacted and arrived on scene after the crash..even the media got there before cleveland cars did.

I'm going to be honest whenver I chased a suspect, especially on a motorcycle..the cops , including myself take it personal. Like how fuggin' dare you run from me. We always hope they crash (especiually at night). So, it's kind of justice served to an asshole and also puts the public out of harms way. Does anyone think for one second I don't know or understand this? So, that's that..

Therefore I know and clearly see both sides of this coin. I see the officer's side and unfortunately..I also know the asshole's perpective too. But the botom line is there is department rules and regulations that seem to take more rights from the officers and gives the green light to fleeing felons. But you must use simple logic, which is hard to do in these situatiuons as officers..many get a little too emotional and excited with adrenaline during theses chases. It all depends on probable cause. What did this person do..which all comes into play with supervisors making clear headed decisions, so stuff like this doesn't happen.

Now they KNOW I know the game, and know I could throw these cops undere the bus in a heartbeat for reasons I just explained. I wa advised that this department has GPS monitoring that documents EVERYTHING and is reviewed by the Accident Investigation Unit. Especially in c/w a death. That's my only problem here. The lies are much too thin and blatant that a person of my background can see right thru. Am I emotionally invloved?..sure! Would I care if this was anyone else who wasn't a friend or family. Well, it happens all the time..so obviously not.

This was a simple traffic offense of speeding..possibly a reckless or DUI. Yes, he should have pulled over, yes he should have spent a night or two in jail (if that) and paid his dues instead of running. But since the only probable cause was fresh traffic. there was NO reason to continue the chase at 60+ MPH for approx 2 miles when you immediate supervisor ORDERS you not to. I was in those shoes hundreds of time where I said.."Ahhhhh fuck!!!". Then I got so used to being called off chases. I went from "Ahhhhhhh fuck!!!!" to.."eh fuggums"..and most of the times I'd see the asshole again ..doing the same exact shit.


So I think the officer does share SOME liabiblity in this. Does that mean losing his job..no. But I would like to have this taken into account when he's being charged with whatver crimes involved.I think this officer put the FU in FUBAR..My brother was hanging onto the BAR and this cop said FU to his boss and my bro..and to a the tall blonde female with very long blonde hair that he reports he did NOT see as a passenger during this entire chase. It's "CYA statements like that that can insult anyone's intelligence..even if you have down syndrome. ..or dumb as a brick like my bro.


I'm going to let Cleveland do their job with their invest. They are stuck in the middle and don't want to throw BPPD under the bus BUT they're certainly NOT going to cover for any their stupidity either. So, whatever their invest reveals ..will reveal.

As far as the little girl..I only met her once. As far as I know her father will take care of her. I heard he's a goof, but like my brother..so was she. That is why my family did not condone my brother's relationship with her. Her family and freind felt that way about my brother..so I guess we were both right. They were bad for each other and did shit like. She knew he drives like a total asshole and was on his bike with him driving like this several times before..including getting a speeding ticket days before this happened..

I feel really bad for my Mom, and my father who always vents to me about my brother. We are actually relieved whenever he is in jail because he's safe there..no drama happens when he's there..it's peaceful. We actually told him that several times and he gets pissed and always says "How can you say that"..Because it's true!!! He's not even aware of clusterfuck yet..he's still out of it. I feel for a girl who lost a mother because of my own fleash and blood..who I want to choke If he wasn't all F'd up! I choked him for far less than this!!! It didn't do any good.

Well, I'm wired, tired and I'm just venting..I'm not adressing anyone like my friend Matt here. I agree with him too. This is nothing more than a 72 hour emotional rollercoaster. I'm mad, pissed, sad, embarassed, sorry and so on. That's all this is.

I'm not even going to bother proof reading this mess, but it feels good to vent.

Bill, I think you and I live pretty parallel lives. My little 'bro is fuckin waste. I pulled a lot of favors for him when I was a deputy down here. He is a junkie....nothing more and nothing less. His preference is heroin.....but, anything that may cause a buzz goes into his system.

He too is attracted to those girls that bring lots of drama and love to stir shit up.

The last time I saved his ass, my C.O. had pulled him over. Let him go for me. Got pulled over again by by another deputy 30 minutes later. He tells that deputy to go fuck himself, his brother will take care of it. That deputy calls me, tells me what happened. I said " Fuck him......get him for everything you can." I call my C.O. and told him to go ahead and file the charges he should have charged him with earlier.

Dad was in the VA rehab trying to detox off heroin. Decided he really needed a fix to get through that day. He arranged for someone to hand my brother some money so my brother takes the money, gets the drugs and does them himself. Dad leaves the VA. Someone fronts him some heroin. I do not know if it was really hot stuff or just garbage, but, it killed my dad within a few minutes.

The only thing I can say when it comes to people you love ,but, no matter how hard you have tried, keep making things bad for themselves and those around them is this: We can not control their actions. We can barely control ours. Try to live your life in a manner that people around you who love life, see the positive things that you bring with you. To help those who need a little guidance when you can. Finally, never quit loving those who are close to you, but, never seem to see the light of their actions. We may not agree with what they do or have done, but, you can not and should not dispute the love you have for a family member or friend.

Your brother needs to spend the rest of his sorry life in jail. We have those kind in our family too, and if it wasn't this incident it would be the next. They have no regard for anyone but themselves and can't see beyond their own nose as to consequenses of their actions. I agree - the cops probably pushed it further than they should have - but you know as well as I do that it would have eventually happened. It just happened sooner rather than later. Your brother is an accident looking for a place to happen. 3-5 years is not nearly enough. He should get 15 to 25 minimum.

I had a friend in high school killed on a bike running from the police because he had a suspended DL....he was out running the cops on an open road, cops radioed ahead and one pulled out right in front of him, he t-boned the cop car and died on the spot
