        Yo Marc!
Another one that dropped back a bit.

I was this close to get the painting going, and found there was no place where I could find Chroma Premier, without spending LARGE amounts for colors.

Have any other suggestions, like where to buy pint sized containers?
I have my head wrapped around what I need to do,
just the price of entry for colors I might only need a couple of times is uh...a bit high.

I'm thinking of just going with an alternate system.
        Any suggestions?
DupliColor acrylic lacquers are 20 bux a quart.
        Bad idea?

        Thanks.

Hey Cyg, the chroma premier is pretty pricey, and laquer would be the best low cost alternative. Just make sure you take your time with the laquer and let it dry properly. I don't know much about Duplicolor, maybe someone else can chime in who's used it, but it will probably work. Just make sure you seal or fill the wood first. Let me know how it turns out.

I certainly appreciate everything you have done, and plan on going that way-with the chroma system-I talked with a guy from Summit Auto body and he said sure, he would sell a pint of CAR, no problem.
He asked me to bring the "what I have" in order to make sure everything would match.
They are big fans of the DuPont system, they used to use PPG.
And of course I got the safety lecture, which I plan to follow to a tee, the best I can.
I have a few tyvek suits (Dupont!), and a good respirator and proper filters.

Cool news, and thank you again.
