  • Kim Mitchell...I always dug this song.

I love the song but the video is terrible.

I had this song rammed down my throat here in Canada on Much Music (Canada's MTV equivalent) so much that I cringe when I hear it now. He could play guitar pretty good too. That song he did in Max Webster with Rush was pretty cool.

Between Kim Mitchell and Devin Townsend Canada has the market cornered on skullets.

            Always liked this one..

Fantastic song from the album "Universal Juveniles" from 1980 by Max Webster. Altough it's credited as Max Webster, it guest stars all three memebers from Ru

LOL I'd never heard that song before in my life, but it is kinda catchy in a gay sort of way. I feel like going for a soda now! :ROTF:

This is one of those songs that got a lot of airplay for a very short time and then quickly forgotten. Brings back memories. Thanks for posting.

When we had "redneck satellite" (the giant dish and hundreds of unencrypted channels) I used to watch Much Music more than MTV. Kim Mitchell and Grapes Of Wrath were two of my favorites.

Kim and Devin gave up the skullets! They went all the way to the wood.

I got to meet Kim when he was at the peak of his popularity up here. He knew the owner of the music store I took lessons at and he'd built a guitar for him. Really nice guy. I'd had Go For A Soda as my lesson a month prior to that and I'm glad I didn't get put on the spot by being asked to play it, coz I sucked at it!

Lager and Ale was always a great tune too. Kind of cops a ZZ Top vibe.

That main riff is pretty damn close to the main riff in "Slow Ride" by Foghat...
