Check out his band, Powder: http://www.powdermusic.com

Phil X is the kind of guy (and player) I hoped I'd grow up to be. Somewhere, something went terribly wrong

Ah, to be young, stoned and almost famous, with a side gig of playing with priceless vintage guitars...

Even though I'm out of practice, I'll twist up a perfect fatty and ignite it right in Guitar Center.

At the very end they show a close up pan of the guitar and it's got a few dings and some wear on the corner. Don't know if it's authentic, it looks like the average guitar on the wall at Guitar Center.

That guy IS seriously enjoying his job. Wow. I wonder if the cut/dissolve stuff was him rambling, or stopping for another bong hit?

I like him. If he's one of those 'always on' type of people it could get old but he has an infectious energy and you can tell he seriously loves music by the giant smile he gets when he starts riffing out.

                        Plus he's from Canada!

                          Hmm...

Well, it's totally possible that he's not high at all, then.

                          Sorry.

Well, he's from back east, so possibly not high. If he was from the west coast then FOR SURE he's high!

The guitar is a real 1955. Click on the link in the YouTube description and it takes you to an info page about the guitar.....along with the price. $68,500. Not sure I could so nonchalantly play a guitar worth so much money.
