It's a bit untight... as I don't practice nearly enough.

Guitar: Vantage Avenger AV-352. Ash body w. maple neck/fretboard.



Cleans: Neck pickup; EMG-58 @ 18v.
Distorted: Bridge pickup; EMG-85 @ 18v.

It's recorded direct through a Line 6 PODstudio GX to Sonoma Riffworks.
The drums in Riffworks are a bit unpredictable... they do weird stuff sometimes.

Very cool. Reminds me a little of Opeth mixed with Metallica for some reason.

Interesting and nice tones, I'm guessing the hand healed up well. For some reason I thought you were one of the 7/8 string guys? An enjoyable listen, thanks for sharing.

I actually never realized how heavilly Metallica-influenced it is.
I used to listen to "Big M" all the time when I was younger, but I have since long left them behind me. But clearly they left a big fat mark on my brain though!

Jay: Yeah, the hand healed up perfectly. Didn't even lose any feeling in it. I was crazy lucky.
