I was working up a new preset on my rig and I never use the Marshall sims but was messing around with one that sounds great through my Mesa cab, and thought I'd see if I could try to do something with it as it's not my usual flavor of tone.
I'm at a bit of a disadvantage though as my recoding room is a bit jacked up at the moment. I have a bunch of stuff all piled in here cause I'm working on another part of the house, so my room that is relatively tuned is out of whack,,,, and..... my internet computer monitor went to shit so i had to rob one of my DAW monitors for it, cause being unemployed for going on 2 years now,, I'm too damn poor to buy anything new... so I dragged the old 52in HD DLP from one of the bedrooms an chunked it up on the console( and fuggin heavy all by oneself I'll tell ya).
If it was a thin ass LCD it would be AWESOME, I could just hang it on the front absorber unit like the little one I used to have up there but the thing is about 18 in. deep so it sits right at the front of the console and kinda interferes with the line of sound a little and it puts out a nasty hum in all my guitars like a CRT monitor and I hate it. I like that my old blind ass can read the screen great, but trying to mix and overcome all that plus the bullshit being jacked up from the crap in the back of the room is being a bitch.
Usually I kinda know for the most part what has to be for it to translate fairly well on other systems but this time it's all over the place on everything I usually check on ( some of which is in the room), so if you fellas don't mind,, give this little clip a couple of spins and let me know what sounds out of whack so I can make adjustments and learn what it needs to be where,,and if that guitar tone is worth a damn. it's just one little riff. I think the bass might be a touch loud though,,but I'm not sure.
Anyway..
