Nice effort. here are a few things i noted, all in good spirit.
Your guitar is slightly out of tune, and given the fact you're using delay, it tends to become disturbing. Maybe you could try synchronicing the delay with the tempo of t he tune. Or, try using less delay or usit it just at certain passages, or put more dry signal into the mix so the delay doesn't get more important than the actual notes...
I maybe wrong, but if you intended this as a beautiful melody line for the one you love, the vibrato used at the begining results really anoying, you could try doing it with your hand instead of the trem bar.
here are 2 more. i probably am out of tune dude. my rr1 rhoads needs new strings and is set up pretty crappy right now.the strings have been on her since i got her a few months ago and i dont know if the dude i got it off of on ebay put new strings on her or not??(who knows how old they are??) i tuned her down a whole step and raised the action real high. i need to get her setup and intonated. oh, and about the delay, i recorded everything on my boss digi 4 track, i used the tones already programmed into it. the metal lead patch for the solo, the clean acoustic for the chords, i didnt bother changing the delay settings or anything. cause im real lazy. each track was one take 3 guitar tracks. i improvised everything, i'll eventualy take the parts i like out of it and make it into somthing else. thanx for the replys man
here are the 2 other solos i recorded at the same time.
