hey fellas, here's my latest creation called "Unsettled".

It's a metal song with all instruments except vocals (still working on that one) This is pretty much my preference in metal.
And yeah, the riff at 1:45 is my personal little Maiden tribute. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Actually when I started recording I only had the first riff, and didn't know what to play next. When I had recorded the intro, I just started playing the following part, it just flowed out of my hands on the first take...totally amazing feeling. The only riff that I attribute to any other band is the obvious Maiden-like riff which I put in there because I wanted to break up the rhythm of the other parts of the song. It just popped into my head as well...

NOTP: Thanks, but I have never heard of saddam's family before...they look like a funny bunch.
I don't quite see the likeness with the Duellists though.
If you think your vocal melody sounds good, I'd be interested in hearing it.

Thanks! I keep it simple, I recorded it through a line 6 pod v2.0 with my SL2H (stock pups), and an Ibanez bass guitar. For more info about my setup check out my page! let me know if you need more info.

Yeahh not bad at allthose Pods rock,what preset you using here/speaker cabs emulated?As thats a killer twin guitar tone later on..well done

thanks, I use modern highgain don't really remember but I think it's the 4x12 cab setting. some compression but not much...ease back on the drive for the full sound when all tracks are laid down, Hetfield-style.
