Hey Zeeg, good job bro! The guitars, drums, bass, sound tight (maybe bring up the guitars a little), but the vocals kinda rubbed my fir the wrong way if ya know what I mean. Sounds like he's trying too hard or something. Can't put my finger on it. Great job though!

I like the song and the tone and I also don't like the vocals. It sounds like you spent a fair amount of time writing and polishing the song and when it came to the vocal track you just winged it. My advise... keep the song but work on a cool vocal track. Tell your singer to sing naturally. I agree with Mark, your singer is trying too hard and it sounds fake. The song is good though.

Very perceptive John. The truth is, our singer and drummer are new. They had only rehearsed with us once before we did this little recording session, and we decided to start from scratch with the lyrics and vocal melody because we weren't happy with what our last singer was doing. Our new singer showed up with 4 lines of lyrics scratched out on a napkin, and pretty much winged it. So yeah, you could say the vocals could be improved upon. But then, so could my recording abilities.

It was also my first time with this recorder. My only previous recording experience was messing about with a shitty 4 track tape machine. This digital thing may be similar in some ways, but generally, it's a whole new ballgame.

Very nice! I love the guitar line! What's your setup? When it first starts up (vocally) it kind of reminds me of Candlebox. I think it's cool!!!!

We are working on finishing up the second song as I type this.
