Here is a little snippit. This was recorded totally with a Korg Pandora PX-3 and a Boss DR550 MK II drum machine. I used my Ibanez USRG20TP. I have been hired by a division of Sony to write 2 songs for the band Skull Snaps. It has to be a sudo-funk beat but heavy and driving. This is the first thing I have come up with. It not the greatest but I think I might be on the right track. This is just a backing track.
The songs title has to be Let em Ride and it has to remind you of motorcycle riding somehow.

Sounds like your on the right track. The rhythm is cool. And it does remind me of a car commercial or something.

Not bad mate
I would personly cut back on the gain a little to give those notes some bite and also let it breath a bit more.
