i never really practice exercises, and i dont think he does either, i dunno for sure though. I just noodle for like 2 hours a day and learn songs and jam over them alot.

fair enough, what songs did you learn? i think its time for me to get into faster stuff, i forused on a lot of hendrix so i know a lot of blues phrasing, but after seeing you and your buddy playing i think its time for me to move on.

oh and by the way, what kind of jackson did you have in the video its looks sweet!

I know alot of EVH solos (eruption) and ive started to learn some of the marty solos in megadeth (high speed dirt, lucretia, symphony of destruction). The key is to find a lick that sounds really cool to you, and just practice ths shit out of it till it becomes part of your playing style.
