• TriAxis/2:90/2X12 Clip

Recorded this Wednesday night at a studio. Used an Ibanez PGM guitar into an all Mesa amp path (TriAxis--2:90--3/4 Back 2X12 Cab)... what do you think of the tones?

+1

If you want objectivity,... the rhythm (to my ears and playback on the cpu) is a little on the transparent/crunchy side, but by no means unpleasant or out of what I would call good (as in being above acceptable.)
I'm just thinking of it in terms of driving the groove across-but what you have gets it done ok.

Writing wise the lyrics pretty much went over me in the first listen outside of the title, and that is really what people want to focus into when they hear something geared for say..radio. If that wasn't written with anything like that in mind or its in a prelim stage...then hey, blow that paragraph off.

Nice structuring on the lead-seems it needs to be a little louder on the breakout, to my ears it is a little buried in there and you are playing some nice stuff.
