Thanks for the settings. We were pretty close. I had a bit more bass and my Mids were down a notch. I also had the comp off but, I'm liking it on a hair. You didn't mention it but my gain is between 4 and 5 O clock and my pres is all the way up.

Good call on the gain! Hahahaa, my gain is set to like 5.5 or 6, and I have no clue what my presence is at, I can't even remember how to control it, but it's probably pretty high...

Your "new tone" doesn't sound as in-your-face as your "old tone". It sounds like the guitar track is mixed in a little bit lower in the new one. Bring it up to the same level as the old one, and then there will be a fair comparison... because right now, your new one sounds a little bit weaker.

Both tones are killer, however!

We played a show with Exhumed! They were pretty cool, the old drummer was out listening to our set and said he really liked it but, we had a friggin drum machine. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] He said..."But why do you use a machine"?

It was funny watching these gore metelers mix up the blood in our dressing room and then they were playing kid songs on an old upright piano that was in there. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

Holy shit man, thats a monster sound you have. That drummer is just ridiculous and your guitar tone is just utterly evil. And that song may not be a "song" persay but hell I bet 75% of unsigned death metal bands out there wish they could write blast beats and death riffs that crushing (the little melodic/harmony bit at 2:50 ish is my favorite part.
