Re: 18 watt Marshall clip

ok well now I am going to have to buy this damn amp, too. If you don't come with it, then I will need 5 years worth of lessons as well. Seriously, you had me at the Nuge and the iron butterfly was just another kick in the balls. I might just have to get off my ass and get the tubes replaced in the marshall, too. Long live Seth Lover!

Thanks! It's still kinda loud, but ya know, it's a hell of a lot quieter to my ears than a 100 watt Marshall.

P.S. that firebird has stainless steel frets, so I think your clip would be a good advertisement against people who say that ss frets make a guitar sound brittle (or whatever it is they say).

I've owned guitars that I swapped the necks for warmoth ones with SS frets... the replacement necks didn't sound brittle or tinny at all. The biggest difference I've noted with the SS frets is that they don't get gunky and feel clean all the time. I love em!

hm...interesting. then i'll be the first to point out that SS frets aren't any harder to level or dress. i actually wasn't aware that they were SS frets. that guitar is way slinky though, so the SS frets may explain it.
